The sea water has become clear since last Saturday.
Today is also clear.

So, we can enjoy diving without stress.
You can see divers on the surface.

There are many kinds of Macro creatures .
First, I can find this fish.

Japanese diver call it “Tamashi”.
It’s very tiny. The size is about 5mm to 1cm.

In the dive point of out of ocean, there is boxer crab.

This crab usually has sea anemone.
It looks like Cheer leader, I think.

And then, there are many kinds of shrimps .

I’ll show you this shrimp today.

Can you find the shrimp in the pictures?
They are good at hiding. So, it is hard to find out.
When you come to Kushimoto, please find it by yourself.

The forecast said that it will be rainy tomorrow.
But, the sea condition will be  so good.
We will enjoy diving tomorrow.

Today, the waves is getting higher due to strong wind.
We managed to dive twice in the morning.

And, I wanna inform you news that coral was spawning  yesterday evening.

Then, we can see many kind of crab.

First one is this.

The shape of this crab is very rugged.
It is good at hiding. So It’s hard to find out.

Second one is this.

The crab is called Orangutan crab.
Don’t you think it looks like orangutan ?
This crab is popular in Japan.

We are still able to see many kinds of Nudibranch.
Today, we can see Pikachu.

It looks like Pokemon Pikachu.
So, Japanese diver call it Pikachu.

In July,  Guest from various countries come to our shop.
So, I can get chance to speak English.

I hope Kushimoto area become popular diving site all over the world.
Kushimoto’s sea has many kind of creatures, coral and scenic spots.

Today, Chinese guest come to our shop again.
I’m so happy he came again quicly.

I learned Chinese language from him.
It’s so fun to learn new language(^^)
Thank you for teaching me Chinese.
I’m looking forward to have a conversation with him.

Today,  I noted that Chinese word.
“辛苦了” ( xin ku le). It means that thank you for your hard work.

I will keep study English and Chinese more and more.

By the way, Today’s sea condition is better than yesterday .
The visibility is more clear and the w.temp is getting warm.

We can meet cute small creatures today.

Moyer’s dragonet is so cute.

And there are so many  Bob-san sea slugs.
This sea slug is that Mr.Bob have found at first.

So, It is called Bob-san Umiushi in Japanese .

Now, there are so many creatures in Kushimoto dive site.
You can enjoy diving in Kushimoto now.

I hope the number of the foreign guest is increasing more and more.

It was my first dive after typhoon No.4 passed.
When the typhoon was coming, the visibility is so worse…. It is 1m~3m.

But, Today, the visibility and w.temp is restoring(^^)

The w.temp is about 23 degree. and the visibility is 10m.
You can dive in a wet suit without stress.

I went to research dive in afternoon.
We can meet a school of Banded boar fish.

We can be getting closer. Because they don’t have any wariness.
They looks like a pet dogs (^^)

The number of goby is increasing recently.
There are many kinds of goby in Bizen.

In the end of research dive, I found that situation.

Whip coral goby and a crab seemed to be good friends and were close to each other.

Sometimes there were situations where they were having a conversation .

And then, Many Nudibranch are still living .

Now, we can enjoy finding and observing small or tiny creatures.

It should be easier to observe big fish in a little more time.

Typhoon is coming

The visibility of yesterday  are not so good.
I went diving hoping that the transparency would be better.

The visibility of the first dive is getting better.
But, at second dive, a surge is getting stronger and stronger.

It’s hard to stay at the same place.
Our body move from 2m to 5m.

It seems like roller coaster….(^^;)
Also, the visibility become so worse. That is about 1m~3m.

When it is not good, it is the best way to hang out with small creatures.

Today, we can meet many small creatures.

First one is Nudibranch. the size is 5mm.
It is so tiny.

Candy crab hold coral for protecting being skipped.
The situation is so beautiful (^^)

Don’t you think so?

We can also meet a school of Banded boar fish.But we cannot take a pics of it due to strong surge.

I wish I had good visibility.
This pic is that the guest took it in past.

Many foreign guest come to our shop in this weekend.
I’m happy many foreign guest to come to our shop.

Recently, foreign guests are contacting us.
I’m so happy many foreign guest are coming more.

But, the visibility is getting worse from three days ago.
Today’s visibility is about 5m(TT)
And water temperature is 19 degree.
when you will wear a wetsuit, You should wear inner vest or other inner.

It seems like spring conditions….
The water color is green.

Today’s guest is from India.
It seems that it was the first dive in Japan.

When he meet Anemone fish, he looks so happy.

And I introduce him Japanese diving style.
Most Japanese guest like small creatures.So, I showed him small shrimp.

Can you find the shrimp?
This shrimp is good at hiding.

When making safety stop, I practice to make bubble rings.

I can enjoy diving with foreign guest after a long time.
I’m so fun today.

Other foreign guest will come to our shop tomorrow .
I try to introduce him the characteristics of Kushimoto’s sea as much as I can.

Weather forecast said it is sunny today, but it’s cloudy.
The weather is difficult to predict during the rainy season.

Water temperature is getting lower recently.
Today’s w.temp is from 19 degree to 23 degree.

Its temperature is April’s one.
Why don’t the water temperature still cold?

I hope Kuroshio current come near Kushimoto as soon as possible.

Water temperature is still low. So Nudibranchs are fine and active.
I can meet Nudibranch called “Pikachu” .

It looks like Pokemon Pikachu
That’s why It’s called this nickname.

It looks like snake or Dragons .
The color is so beautiful. So I like it.

In last dive, Many fishes gather at same place.
I think they wanna lay an eggs.

We can observe ecological behaviors after this season.
I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Today, I taught Open Water Diver course to a local high school student.
They are all energetic, lively and cheerful students!!

So, I have a good time today.

I will go to this class 6th July.
I’m looking forward to seeing them again.

And, I show you today’s creatures.
It’s sunny day today. So we can enjoy diving even more.

The water temperature is getting warm.
So, Anthias are getting active.

In the dive point of out of ocean, there are so many Sea goldies.
It’s so beautiful(^^)

And, Sometimes we can meet a tiny sea horse.
The name is Japanese Pigmy Seahorse.

The academic name of it is “Hippocampus japapigu”.
Japanese diver used to call it “Japapigu”. Japanese nickname become academic name.

Palette surgeonfish is still living in Kushimoto.
Usually, they run away somewhere but this fish is still here.

I think most people know this fish.
Why am I think so?

Because this fish become a model for Finding Dolly.
Do you know it??

It will be sunny tomorrow .
We must be able to enjoy diving tomorrow !!

It’s cloudy day today but the visibility is so good.
So we can dive without stress.

Recently, the number of divers who wear wet suit is getting more.
I feel like it’s the diving season.

And The inquiry from foreign tourists and guests is increasing.
I’m so happy many foreign guest to contact with us.

Now, I dived three times today.
The points are Sumisaki, Good Wrasse World, Bizen.

I can find baby Jawfish. The size is about 3mm.
It’s so cute, isn’t it??

And, the Nudibranch was in a circus-like-posture.

Why do the Nudi take such a posture??
It is so acrobatic !!

We can observe the situation that anemone is laying their eggs.

It’s so lucky to observe it.

We will dive two times tomorrow.
