I checked apple watch in the water.

I bought apple watch three days ago.
And I checked whether apple watch can use or not in the water.

The depth sensor is available in the water.
The depth that the watch shows is the same as the depth of diving computer.

But, the apps which makes it become DC haven’t released yet.
I hope the apps will release as soon as possible.

Then, we went to the area where many goby lives.
We can meet White-rayed shrimp goby again.

And, The dive point named Ando-no-hana open today.
The point open for a limited time.

So, many Japanese diver want to go this point.
We can meet cute fish.

It’s called Iro-budai in Japanese.
The color is so beautiful(^^)

The forecast said it will be sunny tomorrow .
So, I guess I can enjoy diving in a whole day.

First dive after typhoon No.14 passed

The typhoon named “Nanmadol” passed Kushimoto two days ago.
Today, we can do first dive after the typhoon passed.

The typhoon had strong power while it came Japan.
The scenery in the sea is very strong so that the ocean was stormy.

I have to research under water creature where it is.
But, I can find some creatures that we have known before typhoon effect.

First one is Garden-eel.

The Garden-eel was eating.

And sea turtle is still in Kushimoto.
She is so friendly, so we can observe her very close distance.

Last one is Blue tang that modeled for the movie “Finding Dory”.

At last dive, I can find new creature.
That is goby named Spotted prawn-goby.

There are three goby in the same point.
It seems that more and more new creatures will be seen from now on.

It will be rainy tomorrow…
I hope it doesn’t affect the transparency.

Then, we went to the dive point of out o the ocean!!
There were many greater amberjack today!!

Sometimes, they come close to me.
Also, we can see school of Small Scale Black Fish.

There are many fishes in out of the ocean now.

When we go to the point called Bizen, we can see many kinds of goby.

There are Filament-finned prawn-goby, White-rayed shrimp goby, Flag-tail shrimp goby and so on.

Now, there are many kinds of fishes in Kushimoto now.
So, you must be able to enjoy diving!!!

I can dive without feeling cold.

And I could see many kinds of creatures today.

This week is a holiday for Japanese people.
So, many guests come to our shop.

I’m glad that the number of guests from overseas is increasing.

Then, we can see many fishes every dive point.
Today, we can see a school of Silver-striped round fish.

It’s very dynamic (^^)

Sometimes, Greater Amberjack is coming suddenly .

And, in Isuzumi-sho, there are many butterfly fish.

At second dive, I try to look for tiny Nudibranch.

This size is about 2mm~5mm.
There are many Nudibranch here.

I hope the visibility is keeping good.

We can dive without stress.
Recently, we can meet sea turtle easily.

Same sea turtle is living in the same place.
So, we don’t have to look for them.

And other macro creatures is still in Kushimoto.

And, ghost pipe fish is also still here.

We can see so many kinds of creatures in near dive site.
So, you can enjoy diving in Kushimoto now!!

The surge is coming

The surge due to typhoon No6 achieve Kushimoto today.
But the sea water is still good. The visibility is 12m~15m.

W.temp is about 24~26 degrees.
You can dive in wet suit I think.

Then, I’ll show you some fishes and other creatures.
First, A school of Greater Amberjack.

They are chasing Silver-stripe round fish.

And then, there are many frog fishes in Sumisaki.

This frog fish is rare.

But it’s hard to find it today.
The frog fish is good at hiding.

In the last dive, the visibility is getting better.
So, I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s visibility.

In the morning, the visibility is very good!!
When I see the surface, the sea water seems like crystal blue.

We can see so many sea turtles today.
The turtle that we met is so friendly. The sea turtle is getting closer to us.

There are many kinds of fishes in this area.

A school of Sliver-stripe round fishes is dynamic(^^)
Sometimes, Greater amberjacks are coming.

On the other hand, there are many kinds of macro creature too.
Ghost pipe fish is still the same place where I found yesterday.

Even if the water is clear, I will look for  Nudibranchs.

I could find many Nudibranchs today.
The size is very tiny, so it’s better to use compact digital camera for observing them.


Don’t you think it is beautiful?
Now,  the number of Nudibranchs is increasing.

The water temperature is getting warmer recently .
If you want to come to Kushimoto, Now is the best timing!!

The sea water is still clear.
So, we can see a school of fish easily.

Now, there are many greater amberjack in Kushimoto area.
If you are lucky, you can meet a hundred greater ambrjacks.

When they chase Silver-stripe round fishes, They sim so fast and attack them.
It’s so dynamic!!

But, I don’t know when they disappear. So, If you wanna see them, please come to Kushimoto as soon as possible.

And then, some rare fishes are appearing now.
Today, I can find ghost pipe fish.

When I find it, I’m so happy (^^)
I think the fish of partner is near so that  this fish has eggs in her stomach .
I  will try to find other one again tomorrow.

At last, there are so big frog fish.
The color is black.
So, It is hard to understand  its details.

Can you understand where its eyes and mouth are?

By the way, tomorrow is weekend.
So, many guests will come to our shop.

Now, Kushimoto’s sea is so beautiful.
The blue current is coming to Kushimoto area.

You can clearly see divers in the distance.

It’s so beautiful , isn’t it?
I hope the visibility will continue forever.

There are so many fishes.
It looks like Okinawa.
You can come to Kushimoto by 3 hours from Kansai airport.
Shall you come to Kushimoto?

And the other creatures is also here.
There are many boxer crab at the point of out of the ocean.

I can find 6 boxer crabs in a dive.
I guess there are more in the point.

The diving season has come and the number of guest from oversea has increased .
I hope more foreign guest know the goodness of the sea of Kushimoto.
