When we make a safety stop, I could find various Jellyfish.

It’s first dive after temporary closure.
The visibility is getting better than before.

At the morning, it is about 10~15m.
But, there are so many Jellyfish or Plankton.

So, It seemed murkier than it actually was.

And I could meet or find out rare underwater creatures at second dives.

First of all is this sea slug.
The color is so beautiful(^^)
But, we cannot see it once or second in a year. So, this sea slug is super rare in our dive site.

And we could meet cattle fish for a while.

When she was scared, she change her body color.
The color is so beautiful(^^)
I hope I will be able to see it again.

I want to show you this sea slug as well. This sea slug is very rare one!!!

The back design seems like sea turtle, doesn’t it??
Today’s guest said that the color seems like whale shark.

What do you think about the color??

The grond temperature is getting warmer and warmer.

We held Kushimoto underwater photo contest award reception yesterday.
The contest has long history. It continues 33 years.

In this reception, I can see many photographs.
So, I like to join it.

Then, As for underwater, the visibility is getting better than yesterday.
The surface area is still white, but the bottom area is clear.

Today, I could find out rare shrimp.

Periclimenaeus gorgonidarum SP.
We can see it one or two times in a year.
So, I’m so happy when I can find out it.

In spring season, there are so many sea weeds.
Some sea slug live on the sea weed.

The form is so cute. I like this sea slug!!
The size is 1mm haha
It is hard to see it with your eyes only. Do you wanna see tiny underwater creatures?

Others, there are many kinds of macro creatures in bay side area.

We will be closed for 4 days starting tomorrow.
So, I go back to my parents house.

I hope the visibility is getting better at Friday.

It was rainy day…
But the sea condition was calm today!!

I went to diving with American guest.
I’m happy foreigner tourist to come to our shop.

She said there are various of creature in Kushimoto.
I think so!!! Kushimoto area has various of underwater creatures.

I introduced many kind of underwater creatures unique to Japan.

First of all, I could find “Japanese pigmy sea hourse”.
I usually want every foreigner divers to see it!!

The size is so tiny!!!
It is hard to take a pic of that. But, it can be seen in japan only.

And that fish lives in Japan’s sea only.
That name is “Japanese pigmy angel fish”.

The body color is so beautiful!!!
When you dive in Japan, you should see it, I guess.

We did three dives in a day!!
I hope she enjoyed todays diving!!

Other foreigner tourist will come to our shop on Wednesday.
I will try to find out many kinds of underwater creatures.

I could enjoy diving with observing macro creatures.

I have been searching nudibranchs only recently.
But, I did normal style diving today for a while.

As I went to various of dive site in February, so I didn’t know where the creatures are.
But, I could recover the information where the creatures are.

Now, there is Japanese pigmy seahorse in bay side area.
She is so friendly. So we can take a picture easily.

And I could meet rare situation.
The nudiobranch(Sagaminopteron ornatum) was swimming.

It seems like Clione, dosen’t it??
In spring season, we meet this situation more than other season.

This rock shrimp is the creatures that our guest is most interested in.

It’s small even if the shrimp grow up.
The size is about 5cm. It’s so cute(^^)

At last, I wanna show you this scene.

Actually, tiny nudibranch was walking on a face of frogfish haha

I notice that scene when I took a logging with our guest.
I was so surprised!!!!

The water temperature is still 16 degree.
But, Now is the best timing for practicing dry suit diving.

If you wanna experience drysuit diving, Now is the best!!!

I went to diving for searching tiny nudibranchs today.
At first dive, the guest wanna see tiny Pikachu nudibranch, so I went to the dive point which can see it.

The color seems like Pokemon Pikachu. So we call it “Pikachu”.
The size is 2mm. It’s so tiny!!!

There are many Pikachu recently. If you wanna see it, you can see easily in this season.

At second dives, I saw these tiny nudibranchs.

These size is also 2mm~3mm.
In witer season, Some Japanese diver like searching for tiny underwatar creatures.

Of course, there are various of underwater creatures expected nudibranchs.
If you like see macro creatures, I recommend you to dive in this season.

And if you like Nudibranch, Now is the best season to see them.

Japanese sea has 4 seasons, so you can see different situation every season.
Please come and see the expressions of the sea in each of the four seasons.

I went to diving for searching nudibranch today!!
As the seasons progress, the underwater environment is also changing, I guess.

The nudibranch species that we could see are changing.
I could see cute nudibranch.

It seems like ladybug, isn’t it?
The form is so cute. So many Japanese diver likes it!!!

And Our guest could find rare nudibranch.

The nudi was walking on the sand.
I think she look for some food. I hope she can find some food she likes soon.

If you wanna see various of nudibranch, I recommend you to come to Kushimoto from Dec to March.
If you come to here in this term, you can see many kinds of nudibranchs.

At the end of last dive, we could met rare ray.

The shape is so cool!!!

Hello. I’m sorry that I couldn’t update blog.
Actually , I went to various of dive site. I went to Hokkaido for ice diving and Thailand.

I didn’t much dive in Kushimoto(^^;)

Then, I dived in Kushimoto area for a while.
Kushimoto is a home ground, so I was relived to dive in Kushimoto.

Today, I did macro diving.
There are so many macro creature today!!!

Especially , we can see so many kinds of sea slug in this season.
The size is so tiny(^^;) But the eyes are so cute!!!
I like this sea slug!!

The color of this is so beautiful, isn’t it?? They usually lives in seaweed.
We can usually see this sea slug in spring season.

And this sea slug lives in shells.
They are good at hiding. So It is hard to find out them.

Others, I could see other macro creatures today.

First one is warty frog fish. It’s so cute(^^) The size is about 2cm.

Second one is Shrimp named Phycocaris Simulans.

The number of this shrimp is more than usual year I guess.
I could find them so many times in this year!!!

So, I will dive for searching macro creatures tomorrow as well.
I hope I could see many kinds of cute creatures!!!

I will enjoy diving tomorrow!!

I went to research diving today.
Recently, there are so many kind of macro creatures in bay side diving point.
So, I have been diving mainly to look for macro underwater creatures.

At first, I could find Japanese pigmy sea horse.

In Japan, there is a custom called zodiac signs, and this year, Tatsu is the creature of the year. This sea horse is called “Hachijyo-tasu” in Japanese.

So many Japanese divers want to take a picture of that.

And I also could find rare shrimp.

It is Phycocaris simulans.
It liiks like sea weed. So it is hard to find it.

Others, there are various of seaslugs.

Seaslug’s color is so beautiful!!!
So many divers likes seaslug!!!

I will be in charge of Advanced Open Water diver corse.
I will enjoy diving tomorrow as well!!

Foreigner tourist came to our shop in last weekend.
They come to our shop with the desire to try drysuit diving.

Requests for dry suit diving have been increasing recently.
We hold dry suit diving courses from time to time, so please contact us if you are interested.

Then, I went to diving two times.
At first dive, I could find tiny frog fish.

It is so cute(^^)
The size is less than 1cm. There are so many frog fish such as the same size.

And there are also many sea slug.

The sea slug is trinchesia sp.25.
It is called “Macchibo-mino umiushi” in Japanese.

At second dive, I went to dive to try finding goby.
I could various of gobys, so I was relieved.

The water temperature is still warmer than usual.
So, you can enjoy diving without stress, I guess.

If you come to Kansai area, I want you to come to Kushimoto to dive.
