There are various of macro underwater creatures now.
So, we can enjoy diving!!!

We can see many frog fishes in bayside dive point.

You can see different size.
If you like tiny one, you will be able to see 5mm frog fish.

Have you ever seen this shrimp??

It is tiny. the size is about 2mm haha
It is hard to see it with your eyes.
I belive it’s the best to use digital camera to see its details.

In this year, the number of Ghost pipe fish is more than usual.

If you want to see them, you will be able to see 5~7 fishes in a day lol

I cannot research if the number of nudibranchs is getting more, but I guess there are also many nudibranchs.

I have to research for nudibranch as soon as possible.

After this term, the number of guest become fewer than summer.
You can try drysuit diving in your pace. And you can dive in small group.

The water temperature is still 23 degrees.
So, you can dive without feeling cold if you wear drysuit or 5mm wetsuit and inner vest.

I hope you will come to Kushimoto in this term.

It was sunny day today!! And sea water was so clear!!
So, we can enjoy diving without stress in a whole day.

We went to diving with the guest who likes to see a school of fishes and big fishes.
The water was so clear that we were able to see a lots of fishes at every dives.

 

There are many Banded boar fish recently.
Sometimes, we can see 11 fishes  per dive. I think many banded boar fishes are living at our dive site.

And we can see so many fishes at some place.
If you want to see many fishes, now is the best season to see them.

After diving, most of Japanese diver take a logging.
In this time, I was told that we usually don’t introduce neon damsel, Crown fish and so on by our guest.

I think they are right!!!
When I’m in charge of diving guide, I try to introduce rare fishes to the guest.

But, normal fishes shows them the charm of Kushimoto’s sea.
I think I have to change my mind.
What constitutes a rare fish depends on the person looking at it.

I have to see every underwater creatures everyday more often!!!

At last, I introduce you the event we will be holding.
Starting in December, We will be holding  the event named “Searching Nudibranchs”.
We can hold every weekdays. As for weekends, we set holding week.

So, If you like to see nudibranchs, you could enjoy it!!!

The guest from Germany came to our shop.
They had never dive in Japan, so I showed them Japanese fishes.

Have you ever seen its fish?

The English name is Japanese butterfly fish. And scientific name is Chaetodon nippon.
Its name include Nippon!!!
So, when I dive with the guest who had never dived in Japan, I always show the fish!!

I think the place is the most famous spot in Kushimoto.

Tomato grouper and pigmy sweepers.
I believe this is a typical scene in Kushimoto!!

Today, I talked about the name of this fish.

I guess the english name is Decorated ghost pipe fish. But some guest call it ghost pipe fish.
So, I’m not sure what the correct name is…

At last dive, I can find new rare fish.

The size is 1cm.
The swimming behavior is so cute(^^)

But, The fish take something on her body.
She may be take a disease…

Then, The guest from overseas will come to our shop tomorrow as well.
Our shop become more international !!

We went to Night diving yesterday .

The sea condition keep nice recently.
And the number of overseas guest is getting more.

We went to Night diving yesterday.
We could see Baby Painted spiny robster.

The body color is so beautiful!!!
We can see this size only this term.

When you go to Night diving, you can see underwater creatures closer than usual.

The night diving seems like Adventure. So it is exciting !!!

Also, today is so good condition as well.
We can meet sea turtle.

The sea turtle is so friendly.
So we can observe her easily !!

And we can also meet Giant frog fish.
The frog fish lives in same area.She likes Anchor line, I guess.

Recently, the number of tropical fish is more  and more.
There is a place that four Platte surgeonfish live in a same coral.

They are so cute!!!
We can see various of underwater creatures from temperate species to Tropical fish.

I think the one of charm of Kushimoto’s sea is that can be seen various underwater creatures.

Now is the best season to see many situation.

After this term, you can practice drysuit diving.
We held the Drysuit speciality course from Autumn season.

If you want to experience drysuit diving, October and November is the best season.

Recently, we can see many kinds of nidi.


I believe the number of these will be increasing soon.

I found the place that many  rare shrimps lives in.
The name is Phycocaris Simlans.

They are good at hiding, so it is hard to find them.

And Mantis shrimp still having eggs now.

Others, there are various of baby fishes as well.

Now, you can see various of underwater creatures and situation now.
Now is the best season to dive in Kushimoto!!

Today, I try to find out macro underwater creatures.
I really like to find macro creatures!!!

We  saw Japanese pigmy seahorse today.
This seahorse are staying at the same place.

And there are still many kinds of sea slugs.

The size is tiny.It is about 2mm.
But the color is so beautiful!!!

This situation is so beautiul, isn’t it??
Some goby lives in soft coral.
Many Japanese diver likes this situation.

I guess the number of baby jawfish is getting more!!!
It so cute!!!

We will dive three times in a day!!
The sea condition will be calm tomorrow as well.

Japanese long public hoilday term was staring from today.
It is called “OBON” in Japanase.

Many Japanese take a day-off for a week.
So, many guest came to our shop today.

The visibility become well!!
At the morning, we could meet big school of Greater Amberjack.

The scene was so exciting!!!
Every guest looks like fun!!!

Others, there are many kinds of macro underwater creatures too.

We can see shrimps at the soft coral.
I guess the number of the shrimp become more and more!!

At last dive, we could see frog fish.
They usually hide under small rock.

So it is so lucky to see it.
If you could see it, you are so lucky.

It will be nice day tomorrow .
We will be able to enjoy diving as well!!!

There are so many tiny nudibranch now.

The size is about 5mm.

They are staying at the same place.
I hope they are staying at the same place for a long time.

Others, there are colorful fishes in bay side dive point.

It is so beautiful!!
i want everyone to see them.

I believe the surge will be lower than today.

It was fine day today.
But the water temperature is still low…..

It was about 20~23 degree.
I think you need to wear inner vest.

However, low water temperature aren’t all bad.
We can see many kinds of nudibranchs now.

We saw these nudibranchs today.

First one is Pikachu Nudibranch.

Almost Pikachu is tiny haha
The size is 2mm~ 8mm.

And we can also see Tambja Nudibranch.

At last dive, we went to the place where pigmy sweepers gather.

The place is so exciting !!!!
I believe you should see it at least once.

Around this school of fishes, many groupers were gathering.

They aim to pigmy sweepers.
I think we will not be able to see this school of fishes soon, I guess.

The surge caused typhoon will come to Kushimoto tomorrow .
I hope it will not affect more…

We will go to night diving for observing coral spawning.
I hope I will be able to see it.

The sunny day is continuing recently.
So we can enjoy diving without stress.

The water temperature is about 23 degree.
Almost Japanese diver dive with wetsuit.

At the morning, we could see spawning behavior of wrasse.

When female wrasse spawn eggs, many male wrasse chase her.
The situation is so dynamic.

Also, we could see many painted sweetlips.
I guess they were gathering at there for spawning behavior.

We can see this scene in this term every year.

This pics is the most impressive thing for me today.

It is eggs of Bob squid.
The size is 1cm. so  it is tiny.
But we can see baby bob squid in this eggs.
It is so cute!!!

The baby bob squid is like this size.I guess it is about 5mm.

Others we can see many kinds of nudibranchs now.

If you like nudibranchs, now is the best season.

It will be sunny day tomorrow.
We will be able to enjoy diving tomorrow as well!!
