The sea condition is very good today.
I enjoyed macro photography diving.

At first dive, I could find tiny frogfish today.
The size is about 1cm.

It’s so cute(><)
I hope it will stay at he same place for a long time.
I often find tiny frogfish nowadays. I think the number of tiny frogfish is getting more in Kushimoto area.

Recently, there are a lot of Pikachu in Kushimoto area.

If you want to see this, I recommend you to come in this season.

In a second dive, I met many kinds of shrimps.
Today’s guest like this crab the best in this dive.

It is called “Sobagara-gani” in Japanese.
We don’t usually show it our guest, so they have never seen it.
He said he was impressed it.

I could find a Harlequin shrimp in the end of second dive.

But, the situation is very hard to take a pics. Because guests camera is big one.
The compact Digital camera is the best choice for taking the picture.

We will go to the point of out of the ocean tomorrow.
I hope we can meet Hammerhead shark like a stuff.

I can find rare sea slug today.

I’m in charge of the event of searching sea slugs today.
The number of sea slug is usually getting increasing in winter.

Today, I can find rare sea slug.
The name is “Placida barackobamai”.

I have never met before.
When I found it, I think it is seaweed or Polyps.

Now, there are many “Pikachu” in Kushimoto.

You can meet various size of them now.

And then, there is Warty frogfish.

The size is 1cm.So It’s so cute(^^)

The number of guest is fewer than summer season.
So, The winter season is best season to dive in your pace.

The W.temp is 18 degrees.
So, you might be able to dive with wetsuit.

I can meet tiny Japapig in a long time.

We took a four day off in this weekdays.
So, I went to dive for searching underwater.

The w.temp is 18 degree and the visibility is 15m.
The sea water is very clear(^^)

The visibility is good but I look for macro creatures.

In winter, the number of Japapig is  usually increasing.

It is 5mm.
When I look for other sea slugs, It suddenly appears!!!

Usually, its size is about 1cm.

Recently, This sea slug is getting more.
It is called “Pikachu” in Japanese.

Don’t you think it is similar to Pikachu-Pokemon??

Also, we can observe it in winter.

Most Japanese diver call it “Pink-chan”.
The face is so cute!!!

But it is hard to observe it with eyes, so if you want to observe its details, you should use camera.

Tomorrow is weekend, I will search for various of sea slug in a whole day!!!

I wonder if I will be able to find many sea slugs tomorrow.

Today, I was looking for various of shrimps.
There are many shrimps in Kushimoto area.

Today’s guest likes to look for shrimps and take a pics of that.

The shrimp that he want to take a pics is that shrimp.

This shrimp doesn’t have Japanese name.
The name is “Phycocaris Simulans”.

Most Japanese diver like this shrimp.

Now,  Some Clear Cleaner shrimp has a egg in their stomach .

Their eyes is very cute, isn’t it?

Others,  we can meet baby frog fish.

The size is about 1cm.
It’s tiny, so it is hard to observe. If you want to know the details, I recommend you to bring camera.

Glass goby laid an eggs on the coral.

When I take a pics of them, the eggs look shiny.
It’s so beautiful !!!

the various of macro fishes, shrimps etc increases in the winter.

And the number of guest is fewer than summer season.
So, you can dive at own pace.

The W.temp is 18 degree.
Rental equipment is free on weekdays, so please come and visit us when you travel.

Happy new year!!
It’s the year-end and New year holidays in Japan.

So, many guest come to our shop.
The sea condition has been good during that period.

The water temperature is about 18 degree.

Some Anther-fish is nuptial colored.
It’s very beautiful !!

In other dive point, we can observe this fish.

It looks like gold medal.
They usually live the dark place.

If you want to observe it well, I recommend you to bring underwater light.

In January, the number of the sea slug that is called “Pikachu” has increased .

It is similar to Pokemon Pikachu, isn’t it??

A winter season is easier to meet than summer season.
It is one of the most popular spices in Japan.

As the year changes, I think the impact of the coronavirus will decrease, so please include diving in Kushimoto as one of year activities.

It was cloudy and rainy today.
But sea condition is still good!!!

Today, I try to find a rare shrimp.
It’s tiny as usual, so it’s hard to find them.

So I’m so happy when I find the shrimps.

At first dive, I can find “Yakushima-kakure-ebi”.

The coral looks like flower garden.
It’s so beautiful(^^)

And we can also find Harlequin shrimp at second dive.

Both of them is popular species in Japan.

 

There are many kinds of goby now.
These goby is so cute and beautiful.

They usually live in table coral.
It’s hard to take a pics but when you can do, you can feel a sense of accomplishment, I think.

There will be strong wind tomorrow .
So, we may not be able to dive in Kushimoto area…..

I hope I could dive in Kushimoto tomorrow.

It was sunny today.
The sea is calm. So we can enjoy diving without stress.

Now, there are many kinds of creatures in Kushimoto area.
For example, shrimps, crabs and fishes.

Today, we can meet rare shrimp.

The shrimp is called ” Tedurumosuru-kakure-ebi” in Japanese.
The shrimp are good at hiding.
It is often hidden in starfish called Tezurumozuru.

And I meet this fish.
The fish are also good at hiding.

The fish mimics a tree branch.
So, when you find it, the trick is to believe and look for it.

In Autumn, there are many kinds of baby fishes.

Baby box fish is so cute.
It looks like a dice. the size is 1~2 cm.

Also,  the number of tropical fish is increasing .
There are many grouper goby recently .

The fish lives in warm waters. For example, Okinawa, Indonesia, Philippines.

It’s the weekend from tomorrow.
Many guests will come to our shop.

I will enjoy diving tomorrow.

The water is very clear.The visibility is about 20~25m.
So, we can dive without stress.

There are so many kind of tropical fishes in Kushimoto area.
Today, we can see a rare wrasse.

The wrasse is called “Miyakebera” in Japanese.
The wrasse is cleaner fish.

And there are many goby.
I can see Black sailfin goby after a long time.

Their fin looks like leopard.
It’s beautiful fin!!

Recently , the number of Doris that is Nudibranch’s spices is increasing .
I wanna look for Nudibranch in a dive.

On the other hand, there are school of fish in Kushimoto too.
So, you must be able to enjoy diving in Kushimoto now.

It will be sunny tomorrow, so I will enjoy diving!!

The visibility keep good. Today’s visibility is 20~25m!!
It’s so clear.

The w.temp is 24 degree. So, you can dive with wetsuit I guess.
But, ground temperature is getting lower.

So, I recommend you to bring something to protect wind.

Then, I could find tiny creature that is hard to find.
That is Japanese pigmy seahourse.

The size is 5mm.
It’s tiny. So, when you observe it, you may have to bring microscope or Camera.

And at last dive, I met Blu-ringed octopus.
The octopus is rare in Kushimoto.

The blue ring is beautiful but they have strong poison in their mouth.
So, when you observe them, Please be careful not to be bitten.

I think drysuit are recommended after next month.
Even if you haven’t wear, we will practice how to use drysuit at first, so please come and try it.

I’m happy that the number of foreign guest is increasing recently.
I hope many foreign guest come to Kushimoto area.

It’s very nice day today.
The grand temperature is high like a summer.

So, we can enjoy diving with wetsuit.

Now, there are many fishes in bayside point.
For example, Snapper, Banded boar fish, yellowfin goatfish, and so on.

And, a big grouper sometimes attack them.
It’s so dynamic!!!

And the number of nudibranch is increasing.
But, It’s tiny. So, If you want to observe it, I recommend you to bring microscopes or Digital camera.

Its size is about 5mm.
It’s very cute(^^)

As for macro creatures, I cannot introduce everything in this blog.
Because, there are so many macro creatures.

So,  I urge you to see them once.

Recently , the number of foreign country guest is increasing .
