It was rainy day but the sea was calm

It was rainy day. But when it is rainy, the sea usually become calm.
That is Kushimoto’s magic?!

And the visibility is still 10m.
The water temperature is 17 degree.

The water temperature is getting warmer, the action of fish is more and more.
We could see chicken grunt today.

In the winter season, I search for sea slug often.
So, I see many fishes for a while (^^;)

Of course,  I search sea slug as well.

Do you know this sea slug eat the eggs of other sea slugs?
Some sea slug eat eggs or sea slug.

I went to the area where I haven’t been for a long time.
When I arrive at that area, I was surprised !!

Same frog fish have been staying at the same place!!!!

I think this place is good for eating food!!!
We have to avoid irritation!!!

the number of guest will be increasing after that time.
I hope the guest from overseas more and more.

I can see the situation of anemone fish spawning.

In this season, we can observe many kinds of breeding behaviors.
Today, I can see rare situation.

It is Anemone fish spawning.

The orange area is eggs.

Anemone fish lay their eggs by rubbing their bellies against rocks.
Even if you want to see it, it’s a rare sight, so if you can see it, you’re very lucky.

If you go to night diving, you can see its egg’s hatch out .

Usually, I entry at 7:00 and exit at 8:15.
The depth is shallow, so you can stay at there  longer than usual diving.

Others, there are many Chicken Grunt at bayside point now.

Sometimes, Big Greater Amberjack appears.

Its size is about 1m.
When it gets closer to us , it so powerful,I think.

In July, we may be able to see coral spawning.
If you want to see it, you will go night diving.

This night diving is little bit late, but it is so wonderful !!
I want everyone to see it!!

Then, It will be nice for diving tomorrow.
I will be able to enjoy diving tomorrow as well.

There are many Chicken Grunt in dive point today.

It was heavy rain yesterday.
So, I think today’s visibility is getting worse before going to first dive.

But, when I enter the sea, it is better than expected.
After getting to the bottom, there are many small fishes near a anchor line.

It is called “Kinme-modoki” in Japanese. And English name is Pigmy sweeper.
The beauty of the shapes made by fish is indescribable.

Recently, there are many Chicken grunt in Bayside dive point.

Sometimes, some  Big Grouper attacked them.

At that time, the Chicken Grunt gather to drive away the Grouper.
The scene is very powerful,I think.

At the bottom area, many kinds of fishes are spawning or protecting their eggs.
Most of fish breed from now until around August.

If you come to Kushimoto at that time, you can see the behavior of fish breeding or spawning.
This Swatail blenny is protecting eggs in a hole.

In the fish world, it is common for father fishes to take care of eggs and baby.

The water temperature  is getting warmer.
From now until October is the best season for diving.

I will enjoy diving tomorrow as well.
