I can  see baby eel today.

It was rainy at morning, but it will be sunny afternoon.
So, it is warm on the ground today. But the water temperature is little bit low.

The water temperature of the bottom area is about 20 degree.
After doing diving for 45 min, I feel little bit cold.

The water temperature is low but underwater creatures are still active now.
There are many baby fishes.

I can see baby eel today.
The size is 5mm. It’s so tiny and cute!!

When getting angry, this eel is shaking neck.
The appearance is so cute.

And I can find tiny shrimp.

The academic name is so long…
It is called “Pliopontonia furtive anemone shrimp” .

The shrimp lives in disk coral. They pinch its coral by their leg.
So, I  cannot see anything on the coral.
But, sometimes the shrimps appear from coral.

If you can see it, you’re lucky.

At other area, there are many young damsels.

The number of damsel that usually lives in southern area is getting increase.
This damsel like a warm water. So I can see it in summer season.

At last, I can find boxer crab.

I can find it at the dive point of out of the ocean as usual.
But, I could find it in the bay side area today.

When I find this crab, I feel so happy.

It will be sunny tomorrow.
I hope the water temperature is getting warmer.

I will dive three times in a day tomorrow.
I wonder if I can meet many underwater creatures.

Hello.
I’m sorry that I didn’t update this blog for a while.

The ground temperature is getting warmer, so the number of guest is getting more.
I feel like the diving season has finally started in earnest.

The w.temp changes daily.
So, many guest bring inner vest recently.

The w.temp is low, but there are many kinds of underwater creatures.
This frogfish is good at hiding.
I always have a hard time finding.

And this shrimp is good at hiding as well.

At last, I will show you clear cleaner shrimp.

This shrimp has a egg in their stomach.
The body color is very beautiful. So I like this shrimp!!!

There are many kinds of underwater creatures in Kushimoto area now.
So, you can see various of fishes, shrimps, sea turtle and so on.

When you come to Japan or Wakayama, Please come and visit us!!

It was nice day for diving today.
The w.temp is little bit cold at morning, and it is getting warmer at noon.

It’s about 24 degree.
Almost guest don’t feel cold in a whole dive.

The number of young fish is increasing recently.
We can see many kinds of cute fishes in diving point.

And there are many Japapigu in many diving point.
The size is about 1cm. It’s so hard to see with your eyes.

It is better to use digital camera for observing it.

I heard you can see this sea horse in Japan only.
So, when foreign tourists dome to Kushimoto, I want every tourists to see it.

At last, I will show you this fish.
It is called Moss fringehead in English. Also, we call it “Kokeginpo” in Japanese.

The fish live in a hole usually.
It is hard to find out this fish. But, if you can find it, I’m so happy!!

Then, I will go trial diving with foreign tourists tomorrow.
I will do my best to show them the beautiful sights.

I wonder I will go the dive point that has many table coral.

It was nice day today.
And the visibility is also nice. So we can enjoy diving without any stress.

In the morning, we can see the behavior of big squid spawning at out of the ocean.

There are many Big fin reef squids in the same place.
They come to there for spawning.

In this time, we can get closer them.
So, it’s easy to take a pics of them close.

And I can found out many Japapig.

We can see 4 Japapig in a dive.
I think the number of it is very much now.

Others there are clear fishes in bay side dive point.

I don’t know when this scene will disappear .
So, If you wanna see it, I recommend you to come as soon as possible.

Then, It will be nice day tomorrow .
I will enjoy diving tomorrow as well!!

Today’s sea is so calm.
And It was sunny day today!!

So, we can enjoy diving in a whole day.
I wonder if such a day will be continuing everyday.

Today, we can see many hummer head shark at the point of out of the ocean.

There are many sharks. Our guest was happy to see them.

On the other hands, we can also see many macro underwater creatures in the bay side dive point.

In a deep area, there are many goby.
They live in a hole with pistol shrimp. If you can take a pictures with together , you are so lucky!!

And I show our guests that situation .
I like this situation. That’s why it is beautiful back ground.

If I can dive in this dive point, I take a this picture every time as much as I can.

And There is Moss fringe head. The body color is so beautiful!!
I like this fish.

Others, there are many kinds of sea slug as well.

So, you can see various of fishes and  another underwater creatures now.

Now is nice season for enjoying diving in Kushimoto, I think.

Today’s sea is very good condition for diving.
Because the visibility is 30m and w.temp is 24 degree.

We could enjoy diving without stress today!!
I hope this condition will be continuing.

At morning, we can meet sea turtle.
The water is blue, so we can take a beautiful picture of sea turtle.

This turtle is very friendly. So we could hang out with it for a while.

Recently , the number of Japanese pigmy sea horse  is increasing , I think.

This sea horse live in Japan only.
So, I want every foreigner visit to see it.

The size is 5mm~ 1cm. If you want to see the details, I recommend you to bring digital camera.

In this season, many kinds of fishes are spawning and protecting their eggs.

Almost Clown fish are protecting their eggs.
If you are lucky, you can see the situation of hatching out at night.

If you want to see it, please ask to staff.

Then, It will be sunny and warm day. And the sea will be calm.
So, I think we can enjoy diving tomorrow as well.

It seems like summer wether.
So, you can dive with wetsuits without feeling cold underwater.

Today, the visibility is very good.
The water color become blue.

Many Anthias swim on the rock.
That situation is very beautiful, I think.

And then, baby fishes appears recently .
Small fish is very cute.

After that season, the number of baby fish is getting more.

In this weekend, many foreigner visit is increasing.
I hope the number of it becomes more and more.

I can see the situation of anemone fish spawning.

In this season, we can observe many kinds of breeding behaviors.
Today, I can see rare situation.

It is Anemone fish spawning.

The orange area is eggs.

Anemone fish lay their eggs by rubbing their bellies against rocks.
Even if you want to see it, it’s a rare sight, so if you can see it, you’re very lucky.

If you go to night diving, you can see its egg’s hatch out .

Usually, I entry at 7:00 and exit at 8:15.
The depth is shallow, so you can stay at there  longer than usual diving.

Others, there are many Chicken Grunt at bayside point now.

Sometimes, Big Greater Amberjack appears.

Its size is about 1m.
When it gets closer to us , it so powerful,I think.

In July, we may be able to see coral spawning.
If you want to see it, you will go night diving.

This night diving is little bit late, but it is so wonderful !!
I want everyone to see it!!

Then, It will be nice for diving tomorrow.
I will be able to enjoy diving tomorrow as well.

The visibility is so good but the swell is getting bigger.

The typhoon is coming near Kii Peninsula.
So, the swell is getting bigger today.
I guess I will not be able to dive until Wesday.

I hope the swell is getting smaller as soon as possible.

On the other hands,  the visibility is so good.
Sometimes I have to swim hardly to withstand the swell but I was able to enjoy diving most of the time.

There are many kinds of a school of fish.
Now, so many Chicken Grunt are staying at bay side point.

Others, we can see a various  of crab and shrimp.

Now, there are many Candy crab. The crab is living in soft coral.
The color is very beautiful.and  very popular in Japan.

And I wanna show you some Elegant squat Robster.

The eye is so cute, isn’t it?
The face is similar to some Japanese Robot character that is called “Robokon”.
Please search for “Robokon” on the Internet.

You must think it is very similar!!!

We can also see many sea slug in this month.
Now, almost sea slug is tiny, but the color is very beautiful.

The color of tentacles is so beautiful, I think.
So, when I could find it, I always introduce it to our guest.

Then, I wanna show you the sea slug that is similar to sheep .

When they are walking, they are usually shaking their tentacles.
This behavior is very cute.

I plan to dive tomorrow, but the swell conditions in the morning will determine whether I dive.

On next weekdays, some coral may be going to be spawning.
I hope the swell become smaller soon.

I will observe the spawning trends of corals and the hatching out of clownfish when sea conditions are good.

There are many Chicken Grunt in dive point today.

It was heavy rain yesterday.
So, I think today’s visibility is getting worse before going to first dive.

But, when I enter the sea, it is better than expected.
After getting to the bottom, there are many small fishes near a anchor line.

It is called “Kinme-modoki” in Japanese. And English name is Pigmy sweeper.
The beauty of the shapes made by fish is indescribable.

Recently, there are many Chicken grunt in Bayside dive point.

Sometimes, some  Big Grouper attacked them.

At that time, the Chicken Grunt gather to drive away the Grouper.
The scene is very powerful,I think.

At the bottom area, many kinds of fishes are spawning or protecting their eggs.
Most of fish breed from now until around August.

If you come to Kushimoto at that time, you can see the behavior of fish breeding or spawning.
This Swatail blenny is protecting eggs in a hole.

In the fish world, it is common for father fishes to take care of eggs and baby.

The water temperature  is getting warmer.
From now until October is the best season for diving.

I will enjoy diving tomorrow as well.
