We held Kushimoto underwater photo contest award reception yesterday.
The contest has long history. It continues 33 years.

In this reception, I can see many photographs.
So, I like to join it.

Then, As for underwater, the visibility is getting better than yesterday.
The surface area is still white, but the bottom area is clear.

Today, I could find out rare shrimp.

Periclimenaeus gorgonidarum SP.
We can see it one or two times in a year.
So, I’m so happy when I can find out it.

In spring season, there are so many sea weeds.
Some sea slug live on the sea weed.

The form is so cute. I like this sea slug!!
The size is 1mm haha
It is hard to see it with your eyes only. Do you wanna see tiny underwater creatures?

Others, there are many kinds of macro creatures in bay side area.

We will be closed for 4 days starting tomorrow.
So, I go back to my parents house.

I hope the visibility is getting better at Friday.

第32回串本海中フォトコンテストの授賞式が行われました！！

たくさんの力作。見ていて楽しい〜〜♪

昨日は第32回串本海中フォトコンテストの授賞式が執り行われました。
毎年、多くの力作揃いの写真を見れる貴重な機会。

様々な被写体、作風、そして切り取り方などなど見ていて非常に勉強になる授賞式。来年は第33回となり、どんどん歴史が作られていく。

また来年もたくさんのご応募がいただけるよう実行委員会で盛り上げていきます！！！

さて、授賞式の翌日の今日は、海も穏やかで天気も最高〜〜♪
久々に風の吹かない週末となりました♪

透明度はまだ水面付近が白いものの、概ね１０m〜１５mほど。
下に降りてしまえば、快適そのものです。

今日一番の発見は「キイロテンテンエビ」

カイメンの中にいるエビですが、模様がとても綺麗なんです！！
今年はまだ出会えてなかったので、今年最初のストックとなりました！

結構人気のあるエビなので、しばらく楽しませてもらいます（＾＾）

そして、うねりで飛ばされそうだけど、残っていたテントウウミウシも。

大きさ２mmくらいの個体と１mm以下の個体。
大きさも選べた今日。このまま成長してくれるともっと見やすいのですが。
ミノの色も綺麗だし、フォルムも綺麗だし、最高の被写体です。

ハチジョウタツもここ最近増えてきました。
狙って探すとなかなか会えないのですが、ふとした瞬間に目に入ってきます。

１cmくらいなので、見やすいサイズ。
あらにあまり泳がないので、撮りやすい個体ですよ〜〜。

最後は、最近高確率で会えるミスガイ。
１箇所ミスガイの溜まり場のような場所があり、そこへいけばほぼ１００％会えてます。

餌が豊富なのか、環境がいいのか、はたまた・・・・・・・
か、僕は勝手にミスガイ養成工場と呼んでます笑

今年は水温　の上がりが遅いので、ウミウシシーズンも昨年に比べると長そう。
この春はウミウシとヨコエビの２本建てでいこうかな〜〜。

I went to other diving site today.

Kushimoto area was closed today due to heavy wind.
So, we went to other dive site located in east area of Kushimoto.

The beach point will be closed 5days later.
So, we saw various of underwater creature as much as possible.

At first, we can see rare fish.

And there are many tiny creatures around this fish.

Some Japanese likes this creatures.
And there are many kinds of sea slug.

The color is so beautiful!!!
But it is small one.

Others, we can see beautiful fish!!
The fin is so beautiful, isn’t it??

Finally, this fish hid into the sand.

The fish usually wake up at night.
So, it is rare case to see in the noon.

I will dive in Kushimoto area tomorrow.
I hope the sea condition become calm.

今年最後かな？？

またまた強く吹いちゃいました。

今日はまたまた西風爆風・・・・。
ということで今年最後かもしれない内浦ビーチへ行ってきました。

相変わらずマクロは豊富（＾＾）
見納めになるかもしれないテングノオトシゴ。

次にいつ見られるか分からないので、２本とも見にいっちゃいました！！！
そして、その周りに実は大量にいる「ホソツメホテイヨコエビ」。

そして、目を引いたトゲカナガシラの子供。

最後はご機嫌斜めだったのか・・・
砂の中に潜って行っちゃいました（＾＾；）

そして、須江の坂口さんと話題になった大量に今いるこいつ。

無腸動物門とアムフィスコロプス属の一種かと思われます。
そこらじゅうにいるので、気にしないと海藻とかに間違えそうな生き物ですね〜〜。

ということで今日は（も？？）マクロ尽くしで遊んできました〜〜。

明日は串本エリアが穏やかになりそう♪
明日はホームの海で潜れそうです（＾＾）

It was rainy day…
But the sea condition was calm today!!

I went to diving with American guest.
I’m happy  foreigner tourist to come to our shop.

She said there are various of creature in Kushimoto.
I think so!!! Kushimoto area has various of underwater creatures.

I introduced many kind of underwater creatures unique to Japan.

First of all, I could find “Japanese pigmy sea hourse”.
I usually want every foreigner divers to see it!!

The size is so tiny!!!
It is hard to take a pic of that. But, it can be seen in japan only.

And that fish lives in Japan’s sea only.
That name is “Japanese pigmy angel fish”.

The body color is so beautiful!!!
When you dive in Japan, you should see it, I guess.

We did three dives in a day!!
I hope she enjoyed todays diving!!

Other foreigner tourist will come to our shop on Wednesday.
I will try to find out many kinds of underwater creatures.

There were very strong wind and high wave in Kushimoto area today.
So, we changed the dive site located in Kii-Oshima.

There are various of macro underwater creatures in this point named Uchiura-beach.

At first dive, we went to deep area for seeing this fish.

This fish is so rare!!!
It’s so rare that if you haven’t seen it, you should definitely check it out!!!

And we can also see cattle fish!!

The body color is so beautiful, isn’t it??

Do you find any creatures in this pic??

 

A octopus is hiding in this pic.
It’s good at hiding in the sand. So, It is hard to find out it.

Others, there are so many kind s of rare underwater creatures in this point.

 

But, we will be able to dive by March 31.
So, I wanna dive at this point more.

Then, we will be able to dive in Kushimoto area tomorrow.
I hope we can dive in Kushimoto area.

台風来たのかと思った・・・

朝から完全に白旗宣言でした（＾＾；）

今日は低気圧通過に伴い海が大しけに・・・。
朝から完全に白旗状態・・・。

という事で串本エリアはクローズとなり、後少しで閉まってしまう内浦ビーチへ行ってきました。

内浦では絶対に見るべきの激レアテングノオトシゴ。

二月見た時よりも少し成長していました〜〜。
もっと見れたらいいのに、どんなに足掻いてもあと２週間でお別れです（＞＜）

そして、個人的に初めてのサイズだったトゲカナガシラyg。

大きさ５cmほどのめっちゃ可愛い個体でした〜〜。

そして、可愛いサイズ繋がりのハナイカyg。
帰り際にふと現れた個体！！！

みんなでめっちゃ観察しちゃいました〜〜♪

他にも砂地を泳いでいたらカエルアンコウがいきなり出てきたりと面白い海が広がっていました〜〜。

マクロネタが盛りだくさんの内浦ビーチですが、年々串本エリアの海に近づいているような気がする。

いるウミウシ、フクロノリなどの海藻、そして魚も。
黒潮の蛇行の影響が年々海の環境に表れていると思うと泳いでいるだけでも面白いです！！！！

明日は風も収まり、串本エリアで潜れる予報。
明日は串本のマクロネタを堪能してきま〜〜す！！！

I have been searching nudibranchs only recently.
But, I did normal style diving today for a while.

As I went to various of dive site in February, so I didn’t know where the creatures are.
But, I could recover the information where the creatures are.

Now, there is Japanese pigmy seahorse in bay side area.
She is so friendly. So we can take a picture easily.

And I could meet rare situation.
The nudiobranch(Sagaminopteron ornatum) was swimming.

It seems like Clione, dosen’t it??
In spring season, we meet this situation more than other season.

This rock shrimp is the creatures that our guest is most interested in.

It’s small even if the shrimp grow up.
The size is about 5cm. It’s so cute(^^)

At last, I wanna show you this scene.

Actually,  tiny nudibranch was walking on a face of frogfish haha

I notice that scene when I took a logging with our guest.
I was so surprised!!!!

The water temperature is still 16 degree.
But, Now is the best timing for practicing dry suit diving.

If you wanna experience drysuit diving, Now is the best!!!

なんか久々だな〜〜って思いながら

今日は久々のスタイルでダイビングしてきました。

今日は久々に穏やかな１日〜〜（＾＾）
そして、久々のウミウシだけじゃないダイビングをしてきました〜〜。

ウミウシ以外のダイビングしたのいつぶりだろ？？？
ツアー月間から戻りやっと串本のトピックスを網羅してきました（＾＾；）

最初は、今マイブームのミリチュウ。

第何世代かわかりませんが、新世代のピカチュウを出現中です！！！
このサイズのままでいてくれたらいいのにな〜〜。

その帰りに紹介させていただいたオオモンカエルアンコウ。
その時は何も思わず紹介をしていたのですが・・・・
ログ付けで写真を見せていただくと・・・・・

？？？？目がない？？？
怪我をしているのかな〜〜？？って思ってさらに拡大をしてみると・・・・
なんとウミウシがカエルアンコウの上を歩いている！！！！

トモエミノウミウシがいるなんて！！！！
これは永久保存版の写真です！！！！
最初にウミウシ以外のダイビングって書いたのに、結局ウミウシが入ってくるのは、ウミウシ好きの性なんですかね〜〜。

もちろんウミウシも珍しい物は紹介させていただきました！！！
久々に見たダニエライロウミウシ。

そして、探すとなかなか見つからないイロウミウシSP。

今日ゲストさんが一番テンションあがっていたのが、ヒメセミエビ。大きさ５cm位の可愛いサイズ。

この被写体をじっくり撮っていらっしゃいました〜〜♪
こんなに喜んでもらえたらヒメセミエビも嬉しいでしょうね〜〜笑

そんなこんなで被写体たくさんの楽しいダイビングができた１日でした〜〜〜。

明日は昼からまた西風が強くなりそう・・・・・。
なんとか潜りきれますように〜〜（＋＋）

We took a many pics of tiny underwater creatures today!!

I went to diving for searching tiny nudibranchs today.
At first dive, the guest wanna see tiny Pikachu nudibranch, so I went to the dive point which can see it.

The color seems like Pokemon Pikachu. So we call it “Pikachu”.
The size is 2mm. It’s so tiny!!!

There are many Pikachu recently. If you wanna see it, you can see easily in this season.

At second dives, I saw these tiny nudibranchs.

These size is also 2mm~3mm.
In witer season, Some Japanese diver like searching for tiny underwatar creatures.

Of course, there are various of underwater creatures expected nudibranchs.
If you like see macro creatures, I recommend you to dive in this season.

And if you like Nudibranch, Now is the best season to see them.

Japanese sea has 4 seasons, so you can see different situation every season.
Please come and see the expressions of the sea in each of the four seasons.
